What are people's opinions on who/what company makes the best guitar stand

(floor models, single guitar)? I need to purchase a few and its been a while. I

now have some more space

Are companies still using that rubber that eats away at the finish?

I would like to avoid this.

I'm pretty sure that it's more down to the guitar's finishing coat than the type of rubber on the stand, Poly finishes are pretty much resistant to most things I think, it's if you have a Nitrocellulose laquer finish that you need to be concerned.

It claims not to mar the finish but I'd double check with the dudes at GAK.
 
yer they are good quality but as said above the screws they came with were pathetic and i wouldnt hang my coat up on them for fear of pulling it off the wall. but i had a few longer screws about. Got a nice pivoting head on them as well so can suit any guitar/headstock shape
 
Another vote for Hercules here, got a floor stand, takes up hardly any room and guitar has NEVER fallen off it.
