didnt know where to put this

looking for some tasty acoustic guitar strings. any recommendations? budget? - don't want to spend more than £30 really.

I'd expect the guitar as well as the strings for £30.

No, we don't. The music section covers:-

Talk about your favourite music, films and live artists

no mention of instruments or people who play them so I thought I'd ask here

£30? Don't know which diamond encrusted strings you fancy buying.

Any set of acoustic 11's will do you fine. You be looking at £6 at the most

In the future, I would try the music forum, as all guitar orientated talk goes on there

ha ha np, I've got a Yamy FG720GS and the original strings are great (only had it about 2 months after getting of a fender DG14S) , no idea what they are, google might help?

Its a tricky one this - perhaps the forum with the 1000 threads called Which Guitar Should I Buy might be a good start.
Or perhaps the one with sticky's at the top called Gear Threads and The Beginners Guide To Guitars, Other Musical Instruments And Equipment Sticky.

I use roto's on all my guitars and basses, never given me problems and you get a spare e.
Elixirs are supposedly the best but I can't see it myself.

I guess its a very personal choice, heard Rotos are good. Might get a few sets of different ones and over time see which ones i enjoy the most.

How often should I be changing strings?
