Hey guys, could someone recommend any good tabs for a learner, at the moment i've been playing swing swing by the all american rejects, and dammit by blink 182.

Can anyone tell me some good ones that someone who has only been playing a few weeks should be able to learn.

thanks for any help.

Try anything :) Search www.ultimate-guitar.com for songs with "chords" next to them and you'll be up and running in no time.

The most important tip I can give you is dont have lessons and learn by playing the songs you enjoy. Become a live ipod and you'll never get bogged down with forced learning or the chore of "technique".

I have taught myself and I think you have to learn technique with all instruments at some point, definately not at the start though.

not sure about now (im on 56k at the mo so dont want to look) but its been up all week when i have checked.

I use 911tabs.com, it kinda bundles all the main tab sites into 1 big tab search engine

I dont really know the chords. I have been reading the tabs and playing along with them in guitar pro.

Thats cool. Make note of the chord names, if they're displayed. You'll soon start to see repetitions of chords from other songs, and if you sit down with some chord sheet music (even as simple as lyrics with the chord 'letters' on top) you'll be able to play them, having never played the song before (assuming its a song you are familiar with to listen to)
