Guitar tuner

What guitar tuners do you guys use. I had one I used to use in my Vamp but it never actualy used to get it actualy in tune.

I can tune it by ear well enough for practice but its not really good enough for recording because I can't do it to concert pitch by ear. I've had a read around about various tuners but you get people complaining about them not actually tuning it properly.

The first 2 reviews of the boss tu-2 on harmony central for instance complain about it being off.

I use a fender pt-100, and its perfect for me.

very sturdy and it's seen plenty of shows with no problem.

you can't alter the reference tuning frequency if you wanted to though

The Boss TU2 is pretty much the standard for live work. Mutes the guitar when it's on so no annoying 'bong bong bong' through the PA when you're tuning up.
