Hi all, quick question..

Does anyone know what tuning "No one Knows" by Queens Of The Stone Age is played in.
It's just i've seen some say E and some say C

Thanks!

well, after a few hours, i've got an E tuning, but the low E tuned down to C, and it sounds pretty spot on. I just cant get the 3rd chord just before he gets back into the verse. grrr.:D

This may be completely off, but if you are thinking as the same chord as me (the one before the main riff comes back in), its a diminished chord, which in standard tuning (e) looks like:

e----
b----
g-4--
d-3--
a-2--
e----

Give that a try. As far as I'm aware its in stanard tuning.

It's tuned down 2 full steps I think, so the E becomes C etc. you'll need heavy strings to pull it off though.

Right...iv'e watched the video, and it has to be in Drop C. It actually sounds a lot better in this tuning i use Roto Reds so there heavy-ish. With a good mid and a little crunch it sounds awesome.

Thanks for all the advice.:D
