Are they that cheap? I'm going to New York on the 8th September and if I have any money left from my pay cheque I'll be looking at bringing a guitar back - if it's cheap...

Which poses another question I guess, if I walk back through customs with a shiney new guitar in a shiney new case I'll have to declare it, right? How much will I pay if I do, and is there any way I can get round doing this?

Are they really... interesting... I've heard the RG series is pretty good, and I've always wanted a Satriani model but they're a bit on the expensive side, even with the generous exchange rate. :p

Nothing in New York is cheap. There you'll get burned with a 13.5+% sales tax. That's more than twice what you'll see elsewhere.

If you must, grab a train over to New Jersey. :)

Ooh didn't see your post!

Is New Jersey cheap? Is it far away?
