I just wonder will this new cpu processor: Intel Core i7 980X 3.33GHz (Gulftown) Extreme Edition (Socket LGA1366) - OEM fit into this motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 ?

Ta mate, I am going to buy it after my holiday.
Its works perfectly as well but make sure you flash your bios to support it beforehand, I'm using F12 & no issues whatsoever. Even USB keyboards are working again with this bios
