Well I have heard of the Gumball 3000 and the Student Gumball but what other rallies are there that do not cost stupid amounts of money to enter ?

Would quite like to have a go at one of these road trip type events...

:)

Down here we have the Targa Tasmania, The Classic Adelaide. The Targa thingy in WA. They cost about an Average of $5000 To enter as a Competitive or $3000 for lower class none competitor.

Probably doesnt help though :p

Home3Rome and Staples2Naples look ace, you should read up on them but from what I recall you have to use a car worth under £100. there was a thread a while back from one of the contestants, they dressed up as cardinals and one as a pope, a really good read.

Yeah thats right, the car must cost £100 or less... god theres some crap on egay for that price but could be a right laugh..

I nav'd on a couple of Scumballs around '98/'99.

The premise of the (original) Scumballs was as follows:

Visit every county in England in 24 hours, with photographic proof of each one.

I was reading Top Gear Mag this month and they participated in the BABE Rally. Big America to Big Easy. You run in a $200 or less car and you do challenges on the way like car colour snooker etc.

How about some OCUK gumball, maybe start somewhere in scotland - NI - rep of ireland - back to the mainland. Could be good fun and wont cost anything bar fuel and hotel costs.
