Are they some super duper magical glasses, no. Do they help eye strain, possibly. Even if they are quite pricey!

TBH, I've been considering a pair, more for work than gaming. I often end the day (at silly o'clock) with really tired, sore eyes.

I've used some glasses designed for computers in the past, they broke eventually, so i've been going on a month with no glasses and my eyes have been fine so far.

I used to have strain probs, now I use F.Lux. Sorted. That sounds like a soap commercial.

Yeah Flux is pretty good, assuming you're not doing anything colour-critical.

Ordered some, I work on PCs for 7-8 hours a day, I game in the evening for 8 hours and weekends I can for up to 20... Will give a review in a week (they will be here tomo)

I've got a fat head and on the official site there were only 3 for fat headed people and only one style I liked. So checked the UK site and they didn't sell them so checked the Rain Forrest and they have them in stock for dispatch. £99 though on there.

Looking at that ars article about the gunnar glasses, thought this sounded bad.

Yea' I've seen such mixed reviews about it, but screw it this is going to cost me like 1/5 of a night out and I'll get to test out for myself.

Yellow naturally increases the apparent sharpness/definition. They are playing on basic stuff here.

I've used some for the last year and I must say it really helps with eye fatigue/strain when you sit in front of a computer at work and at home for 10+ hours a day.

This really is something that I would recommend for long term use. You won't notice much with short sessions.
