Hey guys, im looking for a low-profile / decent cooler for the zotac h55-itx i bought on here a while back. I have always seen these 1U, 2U server fans as highly reliable. But how well do they perform (TDP/Noise) ?

Could you check this out and tell me would it be appropriate as a replacement for the stock heatsink, bearing in mind the height limit is 78mm, and there is no ability to have a heatsink wider than the cpu socket due to the use of a pci-e graphics card. So here it goes ...

which is this if you dont feel like clicking the link...

Thanks for your input....

Blower (Centrifugal fans) always have very poor CFM to noise ratios. That blower barely pulls 11CFM at 5000rpm, which will probably sound like a hairdrier.

The only situation that blower fans are usefull in is in long narrow heatsinks where a lot of static pressure is nessasary. I don't think that combo would be much better than the stock HS tbh.

Any other in the 1156 category on their production site you think might be viable ? ones in the 2U category for 1156 would be under 78mm i'd expect also, all i want really is a full body copper HSF
