got my new xbox 360 full console this morning, just got round to plugging it in...

error code e67. bottom right red light is on. remove hard drive and it works fine but attach hard drive and i get the error.

Sorry for brief post but does anyone have any ideas as to how to solve the error?
 
well, i haven't connected it to xbox live to download the update (how does it get this if it won't even turn on properly with hd in?) but all other options have bombed. (will try update in morning).

I know that this is just one of those unlucky things but it took 2 weeks for this to get delivered so i dread to think how long it would take to rma it.

Has anyone got any experience of xbox support? Is it maybe worth contacting them directly?
 
I just got a 360 yesterday and had the same problem (except mine was error E68). I tried removing the HDD and booting it up and that worked but then when I put it back in the error came up again (did this 3-4 times). Having no luck I called the support line who told me to do the same thing again, and amazing it actually worked! :eek:

Try a couple more times, might help?
