Gutter hooks for thick, old gutters

Well it's that time of year for adorning lights everywhere.

Tried a couple of different style of gutter hooks already and it seems due to the shape/thickness of our gutters they don't fit, old 1930s property. Anybody able to suggest anything.

There's no gap for cable ties and not sure if the bit of wood will be thick enough for screw on clip hooks.

May work.

I'll try and get one, though a sectional would be best if possible.
