Hey guys,

I'm looking around for a G-sync 1440p monitor however im stuck between two TN panels

This
Asus PG278Q ROG Swift 27"
And
DELL S2716DG 27"

Now i'm starting to lead towards the Dell because it appears to have the same specs plus a HDMI port (Asus dosn't have one?) which will be used for my consoles. However it's a lot of money to spend on a monitor so i want to make sure i spend it well!
Which is the better monitor and which would you choose?

Also there is a IPS panel too which i hear IPS are the best panels you can get. But i hear scary stories about IPS glow and BLB on IPS?! So should i fork out that bit extra for this one? I don't really wana be spending more than the Dell one (£470) which is why im inclined to get that one but if it's worth spending that bit extra i will!

Acer Predator XB271HU 27" IPS

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Recently picked up the Dell for £425 and very happy with it, and that's coming from IPS, it's much better than I expected TBH.

Plus the Dell just looks a million times better, unless you're 12 years old :P

No idea what the QC is like with the 27" panels now. Used to be terrible however both Acer and Asus seem to have got it right with the 34" monitors, which had an awful track record (you were virtually guaranteed a bad one).

If you're considering the PG278Q at £530, I think you'd be mad not to go for the XB271HU if it is largely backlight bleed free.

I'd get the ROG but wait it usually pops up on the weekly sales on and off for £500 lately. Wouldn't be surprised if it did again today once the weekly sale has been updated.
