GX70 not seeing 5g

Have the MSI Gx70 and the wireless is only seeing my 2.4ghz network. My 5g there and using it with my tablets and phones with no issues. Tried updating to the latest drivers but still not seeing 5g.

windows 8 .

Does it even have 5GHz support? A quick Google would suggest not.

Windows cmd says its got N. and the label on it say s 802.11b/g/n. Not like overclockers to lie on what they sell.

'N' could be 2.4GHz only.

Is it sold as having 5GHz or dual band wireless?

I'm fairly sure wireless N doesn't always equal 5GHz, it can still be 2.4GHz.

Ok take it that its a crap module. anyone know if the killer wireless module is ok with the Gx70
