GX740 Review

Hi,

Can somebody that has a GX740 answer some simple questions, as I am looking at getting one but without buying it and testing it myself I cannot make my mind up.

Although it is described as a gaming laptop I would actual like to use it as an everyday work machine so :

Is the screen any good (could you use it all day)
is the keyboard any good
is windows performance OK
is the build quality any good
don't care about the battery as it will be plugged in all the time

Is the screen any good (could you use it all day) : Screen aint fantastic but I can look at it all day no problem. Just make sure you have it angled correctly
is the keyboard any good : Keyboard is spot on
is windows performance OK : Silly question really, when does windows ever run ok ? Na mate its fine
is the build quality any good : Solid
don't care about the battery as it will be plugged in all the time

Hi,

Is the screen bright enough? or is it just got very poor viewing angles?

does the laptop get very hot or is the cooling good?

Would you buy one again?

Hi

Can you check if the GX740 supports virtualisation so i can run XP mode in win7. I think there should be a setting in the BIOS.
