Hi all,
I just upgraded to a Gygabite UD5 and next I will need some memory (not sure if Ill go for 6 or 12Gig) , if anyone could recommand me some 1600 ram to use with this m/b I would be very gratefull,
cheers guys/girl

UD5 Memory more confusion ;-))

Guys thx a lot for your help but I was thinking of the OCZ Gold 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 2000MHz PC3-16000C10 Low-Voltage Triple Channel (OCZ3G2000LV6GK), or OCZ Blade Series 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-16000 Triple Channel (OCZ3B2000C9LV6GK
Could this memory run on the ud5 or do I need t stay with your recommandation? keep in mind my cpu is a I7 920 that will run @3.8/4mhz
I noted the difference in latency
Patriot viper as the best Low Latency 8-8-8-24
OCZ Blade 9-9-9-30
OCZ Gold 10-10-10-20

hmmm, i not a pro but want the best memory to support my cpu, your advice will be nicely appreciated guys,

Thx again for helping me

cheers

Those OCZ modules will work fine, however I would just go with the Patriot Vipers tbh.

I would imagine the Patriot RAM at 1600MHz CAS8 will perform almost the same as the OCZ 2000MHz CAS10/9...

Also the Patriot modules blue heatspreaders will go nicely with the UD5 to!

What happened to the "Patriot Viper II" modules that were listed in the "DDR3 Tri-Channel - PC3-12800" section a short while back? Have they gone the same way as the Gigabyte EX58A boards?
