I upgraded to a Western Digital WD Caviar SE 320 GB hard drive and copied my old HD over onto the new one using Western Digital's "Data Lifegaurd".
Everything went OK but after a couple of hours I got a message saying "the primary partition that my system files were on was nearly full and System Restore would be disabled due to lack of space.
I used a free copy of Partition Manager to increase the primary partition, all went OK.
When I now try to run System Restore I get "System Restore Application has encountered a problem and needs to close"
Error Signature:
AppName:rstui.exe AppVer:5.12600.2180 ModName:srrstr.dll
ModVer:5.1.2600.2180 OFFSET 00009826
Any Suggestions how to enable System Restore again?
Win XP + SP2
Thanks
