H100 dead :(

My H100, one of the very good value refurb units from late-2013 apparently died last night.

CPU fan failure error at boot, followed by the CPU hitting mid-90s then throttling by the time it loaded Windows. No leaks and the LEDs on the CPU block still work, so I guess the pump failed.

Any chance of fixing it up or re-using the rad with some other kit? Don't have the ££ for a replacement unit at the moment.

Hydro Series have a 5 year warranty now. Not sure what this period was back in 2013 though, and also if it was a refurb I guess it predates that as well?

From what I remember OcUK stated 90 days, when they arrived it was a year. So it's definitely out.

5 years warranty standard nowadays for most liquid cooler brands?

No, most are two years but warranty lengths vary from 1 year to 5 years depending on the manufacturer. I believe it's only Corsair that offers 5 years.
