Bought this from OcUk today, and whilst its running I can hear a horrible clicking noise from the pump. is this normal? never happened with my previous H50.

Performance at this stage is nowhere near as good as the H50 in push pull, the moment I run prime temps shoot up to 60C (and that is with stock Q9650 at 3Ghz)

you 100% sure its the pump clicking, and there isn't a cable clipping a fan blade?

If your sure its the pump, RMA it.

Yes, 100% sure. been reading a couple of posts on the corsair support forums and they reckon its air in the system?

How is this possible when it should be shipped with all the air bled out of it?

It sorts of starts and stops, its not constant. Massively annoying.

Sounds like a manufacturing fault then, RMA it, not sure if you would be able to do direct replacement with OCUK or if it would have to go direct to corsair.

Its a shame if it is air in the system that they don't provide a small bleed nipple with the sealed loop units.

The pump is the same as on the H80 which I have, to give you an idea of what it should sound like, its near silent.

this is rattling like heck...

also, not sure if this is causing me a problem...

A row of capacitors sitting right underneath the block, which might be stopping it seating properly ??

How long would it take to RMA? Where do you have to send it to?

Just ran prime at stock for the CPU and temps went up to 80C, water pipes were very very hot to the touch and so was the block.

Stopped testing now. As kind of stuck on this one.

Ahh i've seen this problem before, you need to rotate the block 90 degrees to avoid the capacitors. GB or asus board I think?

Make sure the block is orientated the right way round, there is a slight cut out one side that will allow the block to fit without touching the capacitors, i made this mistake first time i tried to install a H80.

Cheers. seen cut out, and now it fits. performance is a lot better

Pump is still making a whining clicky racket though. should I rma or send back to oc. Feel bad because I already returned one of these because it wouldn't fit in a 1200, they're gonna think I'm a right pest.

i've had 2 H2Flo's from OcUK, they have both had noisey pumps and i'm going to be sending my 2nd one back very shortly as they shouldn't be!

RMA it, use the customer service section of the forum or drop us a webnote.

Not working in RMA anymore but the old h50/h70 sometimes did make a racket.

the pump should make a low dull humming noise that is only audible if you put your ear to it.

Coming out of the pump there is already a 3 pin fan connector and a molex, you have to connect both, but to make sure I ran the three pin fan header straight into a molex, didn't make any difference.

If you tilt the case 45 degrees, the buzzing / rattling stops. As soon as the case sits straight though, it comes back.

i had the same problem with my h60 same annoing click but after 2-3 weeks was gone.you can wait a while to see if its getting better(try to shake the radiator a bit)or just ram it.

i think he's telling you that you can shove it up your ass. you'd better RTM him ;)

My pump did exactly the same, the first one i had to rma, but the new one which was also noisy (but never as bad) has - as of today - quietened down. (it took a week)

I'm reading more and more about this happening, almost as though there needs to be a breaking in period for these coolers where you have to wait for all the air bubbles to come out of the bearings to wear a bit.

Weird. have contacted corsair, will phone Overclockers tomorrow morning.
