h100 v air v custom

Quick question....about to upgrade my system to i5 2500k which i intend to overclock to about 4.5gz.

Have bought the xigmatek elysium case.

Getting Asrock z68 extreme4 gen 3 mobo and gskill ripjaws ram 8gb

Would like some decent cooling for just the CPU at this stage. GPU will be GTX580 gainward phantom 3mb.

Plan is to eventually do a proper custom loop - but not sure when will get round to this so want something decent to get the system up and running.

Choices probably are either a high end air or the corsair H100 - would just go air, but the large beasts seem to struggle with that RAM.

Any suggestions of the best compromise?

You buy a beast of a case, custom watercooling! The case is asking for it.

I will, but at the moment I have spent enough! Leaning towards H100 with 4 decent fans.....should do the job ?

The H100 is decent but so much louder than the best air coolers for comparable temperatures and more expensive. Either go for custom water or high end air with low profile memory.

Ok go for a small CPU watercooled loop then add to it as it goes on?
