Hello,
Currently I have the H100i doing its own thing but in dragon age inquisition which seems to utilize my cpu quite a bit, the fans become quite audible but the thing is they start to ramp up in speed when the cpu which is normally running at 27.3c hits 35c.

If I manually tweak it what are safe temps before the fans should go above normal.

Also can anyone recommend or know of any quieter replacement fans.

I actually mistakenly posted in the graphics card forum because I thought it was my galax 970 causing the sound.

The best fans for the H100i performance wise are the stock. I have tried a fair few of them.

Those temps are well within normal, I take it you haven't OC'd the CPU? Any quieter fans you replace the stock ones with will definitely impact these temperatures.

As far as what fans, as long as you stick to SP (static pressure) it doesnt really matter, and really just comes down to how much you want to spend.

Here is what is happening in (I hit 60c in Aida)

If those AIDA temps are stressing the cache then I am jealous.

Definitely do as above and set a profile. You've got bags of headroom to play with.

That is what I was hoping and yes the h100i + the corsair 750 case seems to give amazing temps.

Also this is in the living room which is kept at around 22c with heating due to wifes illness.

I let my 4790k get to mid 70's max under normal heavy CPU usage for the sake of being able to use a quiet fan.

I'm overclocked a bit and in a very small case though.
