H100i and fan controller

Hello all.....

Im using a H100i cooler on my FX6350 running at 4.4ghz stable. Im currently using the fans supplied with the cooler along with the link software.

What id like to know is would it make any difference if I used a pair of 3pin fans on a fan controller instead of the link software? Would it send the link software bonkers if it didn't have any fans attached to it?
I've got a Aerocool F6XT fan controller with 3 spare fan channels. Id like to run two Aerocool Shark Fin Blue led fans on the radiator via the controller as the link software doesn't like 3 pin fans.
The fans are set to push up through the radiator.

Any thoughts or views, anyone tried this config or anything like it?

Yes do it. These coolers run fine without any fans attached. Corsair actually recommend it as a good way around the 'noisy fan' issue.

It won't really throw off the C Link SW, I'll just not show any fans connected, that's all. The rest of the monitoring aspect of link would still be functional.
