Hi,

I have just purchased the following:

Asus TUF Gaming Z590-Plus WIFI (Socket LGA 1200) DDR4 ATX Motherboard
Corsair Hydro Series iCUE H100i PRO XT RGB Performance Liquid Cooler - 240mm (CW-9060043-WW)
Intel Core i7-11700K 3.6GHz (Rocket Lake) Socket LGA1200 Processor

Everything says that the cooler is compatible with the LGA1200 socket but the back plate doesn't fit my motherboard? The 4 holes in the board surrounding the CPU where the back plate should connect are a good 5mm wider and don't line up.. Am I being a total idiot? Have I got the wrong parts?

There is even a video here which obviously shows how to fit it for every CPU socket BESIDES the LGA1200 haha. How To Install CORSAIR iCUE PRO XT CPU Liquid Coolers (LGA115X, LGA1200, LGA20XX, AM4, sTR4, sTRX4) - YouTube

I've read comments that it's just the same as the LGA115X sockets (which requires that black backplate).

Please help and say I'm just looking at it wrong rather than having the wrong parts...

Wow, ignore this. I just noticed the little screw holes on the back plate actually adjust/slide.
God I am stupid.

Thanks.

Don't worry my dude, the back-plate of my motherboard fell off trying to install my Liquid Feezer 2 AIO. I'd been screwing into nothing for about a minute before I realized what was going on. I ended up duck taping it in place as the board was installed in the PC. We all make mistakes.
