Hello folks.

So Ive had this Corsair H100i for some years.

Today I wanted to view the settings via the COrsair Link software, but unfortunately it does not come up with any details in the software relating to the pump/fans/profiles etc.
As if nothing is detected.

I am non the wiser about this, have checked all cables and connections, it was working absolutely fine last I checked (which admittedly must have been a year or two ago).

I have updated to the latest Corsair Link software.

Does this phenomenon ring any bells with anyone?

I have googled and there are some articles but I don't they apply to my circumstances.

Thanks in advance.

I too use this.

I had some hiccups a short while back, and I didhave the full up to date software, and so I fully uninstalled it and reinstalled the older version. It solved my issues, and it has since updated to the latest but withotu the issues that I had, so maybe just fully uninstalling and reinstalling an older version perhaps?

Thanks for responding.
The problem is i used an older version as well and this is the reason why I updated to the new version. Since I had the problem with the older version
Can you tell me which version you are using so I can try the same later?

Many thanks.

Sure, let me see...

I never bother with it I will be honest with you... I just chucked it on, purely cos I have never seen a cooler needing software? - in fact it was in the Device manager that I saw it for the first time, and thats when it got to me.

Ok...

Software version is 4.9.123
The install version that I put on, is v4.6.0.86

It must have updated itself to 4.9.123

It did just ask me if I wanted to update but I selected NEVER ASK.

Oh and its the H100i v2

OK?

I've had this, it's to do with the driver not being signed, or at least it was in my case.
Look on device manager and see if there are any yellow marks against it. I'm away from pc atm but I remember downloading a file from corsair forums to sort it.

Another time I had it was when Asus fan expert took over everything and I had to uninstall that so make sure no motherboard software is running.

Thanks bud, I did try installing earlier versions, but never worked :(

To be honest I cant find anything that indicates H100i in the device manager.

Is it listed as a separate entity? And if so which category?

If I remember right it's under usb devices at the bottom.
Pc is currently out of service until tomorrow so I cannot check today.

Corsair aren't very good with their software testing. A number of times there have been serious issues with LINK. That's why a great piece of software has such a reputation. I would be tempted to turn off updates once it's actually working! Getting back to the issue there has been a recent update, but it constantly fails on all of my PC's so they are all stuck at 4.9.123. I did notice there was some sort of error during an update installation, so I just thought I would wait for Corsair to sort it out, as they usually do, but perhaps in your case it has corrupted something? I would go with trying to install an older version. Completely remove the software first.

I am still using 2-3 year old version of corsair link due to the buggy new software they release. Always seems to mess up my h100i and they change things that worked perfectly fine before like custom curves.
