hi guys would a H100i fit into a corsair 300r?

For sure, if you look at the pics here, you can see clearly there is space reserved at the top of the case for the two fans and rad.

I should think so too, a Cosair cooler going into a Cosair case.

good to hear, just wanted to make sure, as i got high profile ram and my cooler master evo CPU cooler just about fits in (i had to remove a stick of ram to get it in then replace the ram once the evo was in)

It should be a breeze, I can clearly see the mounting holes for it too, perfect location really.

I have the H100i on my case too, great cooler.

I've come straight from a Q6600 so not had much experience with the new CPU which is a 4770k.

The temps have been a steady 25C (non-overclocked).

I'm using the Carbide 540 case.

my mates offered me an H60 for £20, might go with that...

if you want to over clock the h60 wont go that far its a medium cooler ifyou want to game for long sessions and go above say 4.0 ghz comfortably get the h100i if you want to save cash you could a h100 refurb from ocers with a 90 day warranty
