H105 Pump Speed

I'm considering a H105 at some point in the future, is it possible to control the pump speed via whichever header you plug it into?

I've read that the temp performance difference between 75% and 100% pump speed is negligible but the noise performance is significantly better. I want as close to silent as possible at idle whilst browsing etc.

Yeah I've seen people undervolt the pump to 9-10v with minimal effect other than a noise reduction. No idea about longevity effect though.

Well it can only increase it's life span, but noise is my main concern. I may give one a go I'm still undecided, it depends how my air cooling options go.

I meant that some pumps aren't designed or tested to be undervolted necessarily.
