H110i gt hot cpu

Hi,

I've just fitted my H110i gt to my 2600k @ 4.5 and on the first couple of outings in BF4 I've been hitting 72'c cpu temp, has anyone got one of these fitted to a clocked 2600k and can let me know temps?

Seems a good 10'c too high to me.

Hmmm, My H100i keeps my i7 4790K around 40'c, 45'c when playing game like farcry

My h100i gets hot with my 4790k if i go anywhere near 1.3v with it. At stock it still sits in the 70's under load.

Just going to throw this is here. My 4790k got around 100'c when stress testing at first with a H100i installed. Took me ages to find the problem of this and it was my V-Core that was set too high with the default on the motherboard version. I updated my BIOS version and it set the V-Core lower so i could creep it up when overclocking and now my temps are around 50'c if that when stress testing.

72 it too much on a game, shouldn't be more than 55, with a water cooler.
did the bios update resolve the issue ?
