H1Z1 - edges flicker/shimmer when I move?

Long story short this is hard to explain. But whenever I move in-game everything around me such as buildings, trees and fences seem to flicker when I move. By flicker I mean it moves, like it shimmers, I can't describe it.

I tried all video settings and it still happens on everything I try.

I know these are not the same game but this is the exact same problem I'm facing.

Please help?

In that video it looks like some sort of anti aliasing bug or something. Try perhaps DSR and try upscaling to another resolution? 1440p for example?

Dynamic Super Resolution i think. nVidia setting to allow for bigger resolutions but it gets scaled down to your monitor. Makes things look sharper usually. Odd times adds very slight blur.

To me that video looks like it needs some Anti aliasing. Is it using FXAA?

The game has no option for AA or anything like that, what should I do?

I think it's called sweet fx or something along the lines. You can use that program to inject smaa which is half decent. This might help some. If you are running at 1080p then dsr 1440p should just make the image look clearer as they are essentially the same 16:9 ratio.

Not s ure what you mean by DSR 1440p. I did enable it in control panel but I didn't notice no difference.

Enable it in the control panel. Then in game you should be able to select a higher resolution in the settings. If you are at 1080p then you should be able to select 1440p in game. This should sharpen things up.

When I use 1440x1080 it just makes the game stretched and a little blurry :c

It should be 2560x1440. Is your normal resolution 1920x1080? That resolution you are using is lower than 1920x1080p so not surprised it looks mince.

I don't have the 2560x1440 option. The only option which appears in-game is 3840x2160.

Funny enough when I enable 3840x2160 I don't seem the problem anymore, the only problem I get is 15 FPS and my mouse sens is stupidly low. It's unplayable due to 15 FPS lol.

That's weird as 2560x1440 should be in there as an option. 3840x2160 is 4k so pretty demanding and that is why you have really low fps. Maybe somebody with an Nvidia card can advise on how to get 1440p as an option.

Ah, I got it now. Didn't enable the right option in control panel. Ok, I'm using 2560x1440 and the problem still persists, I see no change whatsoever.

The only solution so far which has made a difference is changing HDPixelPlus=1.000000 to 2.00000. But this gives me low FPS, I get 30-40 FPS when I use this, it's awful.

I really need this problem fixed. Why is this happening? I bought this PC expecting to run things smoothly yet when playing this game everything flickers like a ****ing disco, it's the worst thing. Trying to pinpoint someone within a city yet I can't, everything flickers/shimmers and distracts me.

So far putting the HDpixel on 2. does somewhat make the problem better, just literally cuts my FPS in half :c

You could try dropping other settings to gain some fps back until there is a fix. It's not ideal but in shooters and games like this less detail can actually help to spot targets along with keeping fps higher. Just depends on whether you want more detail or the problem gone.

I want the problem gone at this point. I couldn't care less about the graphics. I don't understand why my rig is having this problem. I'm getting 100+ fps on ultra yet soon as I put 2. on the HDPixel, I lose half of what I'm getting, even on medium settings.
