h20 will not fit ??

hi can anyone help me.
i have ordered a new system today and received my order this morning, by now i should be playing bf3.... but im not because by the looks of things my h20 will not fit onto my motherboard even though the motherboard (asrock extreme7 gen3) is socket 1155 and the h20 supports 775/ 1155/ 1156/ 1366 intel sockets.
i have spent all day trying to align all 4 holes of the back plate to the 8 holes on my motherboard which probably means the tension clips wont centre with the holes either.
the instructions i got with the h20 sucks and all the tutorials on the net dont use my motherboard
can someone please help me

btw the back plate only says 775/ 1156 and 1366.... not 1155

1156 is identical to 1155

The Asrock is fitted with 8 holes,

4 are for 1155 and are perfectly square to the socket

4 are for backwards compatibility to LGA775 coolers and these are at an angle to the socket.

ok i shall try with 1156 and get back to you mate i might have to ul a pic or 2 for you to see the problem if it persists

Just looked at my board, the 1155 holes are clearly marked on the PCB.

ive done it but the back plate is on a slight angle does this really matter?

If it looks like that then its fine.

Except I would have the pipes at the bottom on both the pump+rad.

nice one i was looking for a guide like that but couldnt find one and is there a reason why you would have the pipes at the bottom?

also i took your advice on the ice q but only got two games im missing deus ex lol
