Hello everyone, Sorry i know this is a basic motherboard ,it was in a pre-made pc i bought. It has one HDD and one SDD and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060. It plays most games really well, saying that i haven't bought many new games so i guess it's biggest test was Cyberpunk 2077 which ran amazingly , didn't even get the 'come out of a menu screen' slow down and most recently the BF6 Beta, had no issues whatsoever. My question is, my case has a spare SSD mounting but does my motherboard support 3xpower and 3xdata if i was to buy a second SDD? Also are the HDD and SSD connections the same i.e if my mobo only could support 2xdrives could i get rid of my HDD and use an SSD in lieu and still have the relevant cables available, as in literally unplug HDD and use the same cables for SDD?
Apologies if this is dumb, my backround is engineering and motor trade so pc's are a whole new thing to me.

Many thanks everyone.

The motherboard manual and website should have this information.

Normally yes (they're just called SATA data cables and SATA power connectors), however old HDDs might not be the same.

SATA data cables are super easy to get, you can find a bundle in most motherboard boxes for 'free'.

Case mounts are more or less the same if the HDD is laptop sized, but if they're regular desktop HDD sized, they are different.

but does my motherboard support 3xpower and 3xdata if i was to buy a second SDD?
From what I can see on the board's spec page, you have 4x SATA ports on the motherboard, but feel free to check the board physically yourself.

Power connectors, you either have one spare (dangling from the PSU, or you do not.
