Hi guys i just ordered my case for the H440. Reading through some older posts, they say that the airflow isn't to great on the case and to add pushing and pulling fans.

Still reasonably new to building comps but airflow is something im struggling with, personally i have never had a problem with my Zalman Z9+ apart from the cleaning.
I will be rolling with a closed loop cooler for my CPU (DevilsCanyon i7) and trying to do everything else with fans.

I wanted to know experiences people have had with the case and the best way to combat it. also how can i get my fans pushing and pulling?

Thanks

Remove the extra HD cases,
Make sure you dont have any cables block the airflow from the front fans.

I replaced one of the front fans with a corsair AF 120 and noticed a nice change in airflow. I'll be replacing all of them once I can be bothered.

At the end of the day it is a "silenced" case, you will have higher temps than other cases but once you replace some front fans, set up a decent fan profile for said fans you're not looking at too much of an issue. Probably 3-4c degrees more than a non restricted case.

It's just a trade off. The silence and style vs better air flow.

I have a 4790k and tri-x 290, fans running on minimum RPM so around 400-500RPM ish.

Idle temps (Room ambient is bang on 25c right now)

28-32c

Not much of an issue.
