H440 Fan controller.

The H440 has a fan controller, as it's powered by Molex i'm guessing there is no way to change the speed of the fans or am i missing something?

yes, its not a controller, its a fan power distribution unit

I thought so. I'm not bothered, it's silent anyway but it would have been nice to have the option.
