H440 frustrations

Okay so the other day I bought the NZXT h440 which I've had my eye on for a while(it's kinda purdy), also a month previously I'd upgraded to an x41 kraken for cooling. Yesterday I put this system together under the strange thought that these products should be compatible (same manufacturer and the rear exhaust is 140mm) only to discover that said cooler is in fact too wide for the side panel if mounted on the exhaust and have had to now mount on the top of the unit.

Am I whining or is it kinda stupid that that these products are not fully compatible. :confused:

i got my x41 in the front

i was also surprised it didnt fit as exhaust

was thinking about doing this, might still.
Did you mount it on the top most part of the front intake?

I have to say - the only worry I've had is in having a little bit of a wibble moment over where I could possibly fit my soundcard - have you tried placing the kraken at the top as opposed to the back?

i mount in on top, to keep all hot air away from GPU, i have 3 exhaust fans up top ,and one on the back, all running very slow. Keep all system cool and quiet
