Currently using a H50-1 in a push/pull config using Akasa Apaches, and I am planning on getting an i5 2500k and overclocking to around 4.5. Just wondering will the H50-1 be good enough or should I up this to a H70/H80 not sure I can be bothered trying to fit a H100 in the 600T

im on noctua U12P (i think is the model) air cooler currently. I also have an i5 2500k clocked to 4.2 and under 1 hour of prime and 1 hour of bfbc2 at ultra it didnt go above 65

H50 should be fine.

I have a H50 with push only using the OEM fan and it happily cools my 2500K at 4.4 with Prime95 at 65-68.... so I would think it should be fine. I'm thinking of sticking a couple of Typhoons on it but don't know if it would be worth it.

I found the Apache's dropped the temp but only by 1-2 degrees. The main benefit was been able to run them slower (whilst maintaining cool performance) so that the noise was heavily reduced
