H50 1155 Adaptor?

Does anyone know what the 1155 adaptor looks like for the H50.

I've got it fitted on a 775 chip at the moment but will soon be on a 1155 and my adaptors are at the other end of the country so before it gets posted I want to make sure its right.

There is a long rectangular one and there is another circular one other than the 775 one currently in use.
 
There is a plate, that you can adjust some little metal inserts on. This has numbers on it.

Adjust them to the 1156 holes. This fits 1155. :)

this is what ive got other than the 775 one fitted - is it either of these please?

Look here.

As above, it looks like you just remove the metal threaded parts and place them into the holes of the bracket that say 1156 (same holes as 1155). Assume you just screw/bolt it back together like you did for your 775 motherboard.
 
ah perfect thanks - looks like it must be fitted as 775 at the moment then - do you think the front plate is also correct then as it looks like it gets flipped also for the bolt holes?

ps - is thermal paste ok to use if its a couple of years old?
 
Not sure about the front plate, never had a H50 so can't really say.

I have some MX-2 paste I bought with a build from 4 years ago, and I used it recently on my new build and it's 100% fine.
