H50 backplate stuck solid to mobo

Just installed all my 2500K stuff and ive had to use the stock cooler because the backplate for the H50 is stuck fast to the old mobo. Ive tried tugging it off but i dont weant to break it or damage the mobo. Any ideas?

Hair dryer to the the back, then peal from the top.

Well ive got it off but ive managed to lose one of the screws that fix it to the backpate :mad:

Found it, black screw on a black shaggy rug, no wonnder i lost it

Luckily i stood on it when i took my socks off, hurt but im happy

For futitre mate, get a hair dryer on it and peel from a corner as has been said. If its still tight try and get some fishing line behind it and use the line as a saw.
