H50 fan choice question...

ive got a H50 in push pull config in an antec 902 case. Im using the rear exhaust fan on the 902 reversed as the push, and the pull is an antec tri cool. both are set on low.

had it installed since sat, idle temps are around 25, but jump around a lot, up to 33 and then back down the up again.

is this because the paste hasnt cured, or the fans are competing with each other?

Your rear fan is a Tri-Cool as well make sure both are fans are set to exhaust by the arrows on the fan side, the thermal paste that comes with the H5O is very good[NO CURING NEEDED. Make sure the pump is locked correctly, the four pump screws are tightened down equaly till they just stop and the pump 3pin header is connected to a 3pin header that supplies 12v. Check your manual diagram of the motherbroad for a 3pin PWM header or one marked 12v, as the pump needs 12v to run properly.
