Honestly have no idea what section to put this in so here goes.

I've just given the inside of my case a bit of a clean and tidy.
It seems when ever I put in my h50 cooler I connected it how ever I wanted!
It appears I have it connected up as so:

pump-sysFan
infan-cpuFan
outfan-pwrFan

Obviously the best one to use would be CPU fan for auto adjusting fan speeds etc but unless I am missing a fan splitter this wouldn't be possible.

Can anybody recomend a better way to connect them all togeather?

In a slightly related grump. I'm just getting annoyed at the noise of this thing! =[

Put the pump on pwrfan, as it needs full power. Then cpufan and sysfan should be controllable for the push/pull fans.

Yes they are noisy, though you may get ample performance turning down the fan speed, or changing the fans.

Hi there,

Yea, it can be a bit loud - maybe worth investing in a couple of cheap fan controllers like this or a cheap front panel one.

Also, I would strongly suggest connecting the pump directly to the PSU. As it really needs to recieve a solid 12V signal or it won't run as well as it should (since often motherboard fan connections vary their output voltage). To do this, you can use a cable like this.

I do have a spare fan power cable off the PSU, but I think it does something weird like I needed a connection between other things and this also came off as the connection between them.
Apart from the PSU I only have one other fan running and that's over the raid array. The fans on the h50 were bought as a recomendation form here, but honestly can't remember the name of them.

I do need to sort out the computer, both the hardware side and the software. But a fresh install seems like a huge amount of work! I've gradually added various peices of software so trying to think what I all actually need and use and then redownload it etc just seems like a HUGE task at the moment.
