Hi There...

I think I'm having temperature issues with my current setup, but I'm not really sure what I need to do in order to resolve the issue;

Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R
i7 930
Corsair H50-1
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5870 Vapor-X
Antec 300
3 x Akasa Vipers

I have two Vipers on either side of the radiator, pushing out of the case. One Viper at lower front of case as intake. Big fan at the top of the case as exhaust. No side fan.

I'm running everything at stock, and seeing idle temps of 39C-41C.

I have the H50 pump connected to SYS_FAN1, and the 3 Vipers hooked up together to CPU_FAN.

Despite these temps, exhaust from around the radiator feels pretty cool.

The PC is in a centrally heated room, not sure on the temp. I have another PC in the same room, air cooled i7 950 and that sees similar temps at stock whilst idle.

Any suggestions? Should I be seeing much lower temps from both machines at stock?

I have the H70 and i believe the setup the suggest to use is the air blowing into the case. If you think about it if you have the air blowing out like an exhaust then your taking the heat from inside the case to try to cool your water. That would make the watercooling a higher temp so try switching both the fans to blow air into the case.
