Are these the only ones you can use an i3 with? I'm yet to see one in the flesh but from the pictures they all look as if long and deep graphics cards are a no go! It appears that something is likely to get in the way, be it the ram slots, cpu cooler or the southbridge! Infact, I can't recall seeing a northbridge on any of them. These boards look odd to me.

You can use i3 CPUs in P55 boards, you'll have to flash to the latest BIOS to get full functionality though. But you won't be able to use the GPU in the CPU with a P55 board.
What boards are you looking at that have big heatsinks on?

Didn't know that about the P55 boards.
It is not that the heatsinks are too big, it is just that the positioning of evrything looks strange to me. I'm probably just having a 'moment' to be honest as they obviously work just fine otherwise they wouldn't be selling them.
