So i got two gentle thyphoons 1850 3pin fans to run a push and pull config on my h60, well after hooking them up and running prime 95 for 20mins
both fans at full blow had a max of 44C.

The one stock corsair one passed 65 after 10mins so I stopped the test.
Big improvement but i now have a few problems, I guess they are harder to control
And also they run at different speeds if i use fanxpert
one fan is plugged into the cpu fan header (it runs at full speed always, no control)
the other fan is pulled into the 4pin channel fan header (this seems to be controlled since it varries in rpm when i select the cooling mode).

First question : How do I enable to enable the computer to control these fans?, aka as the temp goes up the rpms as well

Second question : How do I make sure they both run at the same speeds?

thanks in advance guys

I would just run them both from direct 12v sources, either motherboard headers that you know will always give 12v or plug them both into molex. You should have no real reason to control the speed of GT1850's as they are afaik very quiet at full speed...

that is a valid suggestion but they are not silent enough to warrent them running at rull rpm on idle :/

With your current setup download Speedfan and see if it can control your current fan plugged into the cpu fan header. You will have to read how to do this as it isn't instantly obvious in the software. If that works then buy a y adaptor so you can plug both fans into the cpu fan header. Now setup speedfan to do automatic fan control based on your cpu temperature. That way they will both spin at the same speed and it will control itself allowing you to forget about cooling.
