H60 temps getting worse

Hi all, I'm having problems with my H60 cooler, CPU is a 4670 (non-k) UNDERVOLTED by 0.12mv, so it should be pretty chilly.

I never had temps that were too great, but after coming back from 6 weeks away the PC is idling at 50+ degrees and temps shot up to over 80 when playing Skyrim within minutes. Also the PC shut down for the first time due to high temps shortly after.

I've read of H60's pumps failing but mine still shows 4000+ RPM in the BIOS, not sure if it might need re-seating, I've given the screws a good tighten to be sure it's on securely. The rad is mounted at the back as an exhaust.

New cooler time?

Check the temperature of each tube. They should both be warm under load. If it's uneven, there might be a pump issue. Otherwise, check the seating of the block.

Ran intel stress test and after about 20 secs the temp was 93 so i cut it off, but couldn't feel any difference in the hoses. Probably gonna try and re seat it with fresh paste.

Have been running AIO coolers for a while now, and none have gone U/S yet, (Apart from H80i software not playing in W8.1). One of my old rigs still has a H70 cooling a 1090T that l gave to my sister.

@ 35 quid and a one year warranty it would be rude not to :)

Hopefully the price will stay like that for a while, as unfortunately, I am student scum as of the beginning of this week and now spend all my money on pish. ;)

Seriously though - I will grab that when I can.
