H61/H67 GPU overclocking.

Hi all, I was just wondering if the H61/H67 boards have the ability to overclock a discrete GPU, i know as much that they cant overclock the CPU and thats about it :rolleyes:

from a quick google it would appear the general consensus is yes the H61/H67 on some motherboards atleast.

Discrete GPU's are clocked independently from the motherboard. Third party software such as Afterburner will clock any modern discrete as required. There are others available and most graphic card vendors bundle a variation of their own with the card these days.

oh, so overclocking the GPU doesnt require a overclock capable motherboard, just needs a software, unlike overclocking the CPU.
