Sorry for a stupid question.

Can I use one slice of memeory with my H67 MoBo?

I remember in the old days you would need to pair two....

It's best to use pairs as this enables dual channel mode for better performance.

But you can use one stick and it will work fine in single channel mode.

CPU's with a triple channel memory controller using the X58 chipset use sticks in threes (3 or 6) for best performance.
