Thinking of upgrading to skt1155 after many years of having fun overclocking skt1156 CPU's.

Things seem to have moved a lot and I got lost with the number of options/chipsets for skt 1155.

Got a GPU and memory and looking for a mATX motherboard and a decent CPU (don't think I can afford an unlocked one - but do I also have a mobo with a particular chipset to oc if I have an unlocked CPU?)

A friend is offering to sell me his ASRock H67M mobo without however a CPU. Is this a decent mobo and what options do I have for a CPU?
Have a budget of around £120 for mobo and CPU.
Any suggestions welcome.

Here is what I would get:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Gigabyte Z77M-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £86.99
1 x Intel Celeron G540 2.50GHz Socket LGA 1155 Processor - Retail £29.99
Total : £127.48 (includes shipping : £8.75).

Save up and get a 3570k when you can :p this is the kind of bundle you should be looking at really, you could raise some funds from selling your old mobo/memory/cpu.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail £184.99
1 x MSI Z77MA-G45 Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Micro-ATX Motherboard £91.99
1 x Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX8GX3M2A1600C9) £29.99
Total : £318.37 (includes shipping : £9.50).

Another option is to wait for the next series of chips, Haswell, which is due out next year sometime.
