Hi

I've been using my i7 930 at stock for ages now but with the impending release of BF3 I have bought a new graphics card and now would like to overclock to 4ghz, I actually bought the chip as part of an ocuk bundle just over a year ago and it was sold as overclocked to 4.2ghz but the temps were mental high 95c+ under prime95, so I set it back to stock and left it as I have not been gaming for a while, now I want some extra fps for BF3 so I loaded the ocuk profile but changed the multiplier to 20x instead of 21x as I thought it might run cooler at 4ghz but having tested in prime again for 10-15mins it is hitting 86c (in coretemp).

I am a bit confused really as there are plenty of forums etc out there where people 'claim' to be running at 70-75c even at 4.2Ghz, are they just exhaggerating or did they just get lucky with their chip?, I am running at 1.28vcore so don't think this is the issue. I can post my bios settings if it helps but just really asking are these temps normal with a H70 + 4ghz overclock?.
