H70 noise

should i be worried about the noise of the h70 cooler, or should i comprimise little bit of performance with noise and go 4 the new h60. oc 2600k @ 4.2-4.5

I've got a H70, it is loud, so bought some headphones, problem solved.

Have you considered going for a cheaper, better performing and quieter air cooler like the Thermalright silver arrow?

Just make sure you are using low-profile RAM if you go down this road.

Have you experimented with the fan speed? On my H50 with dual fans the cooling doesn't get any better past a certain speed but the noise reduction is significant.

I was running mine with an apache and a antec tricool on the lowest setting and the thing was damn near silent, about 45 under load on a q9650
