Hey, currently I have a noctua c12p cooling my lian li v351 but the temperatures get pretty toasty whilst I render. I'm thinking that If I get a h100 I could place it outside the case (via the small panel on the back)
Ill add a pic

I hope that sort of shows what I mean..
Anyway I tried to find someone who has done similar but couldn't so has anyone else seen this work?

Any advice would be a great help!

I used to have a Silverstone Sugo SG06 and put a Corsair H50 radiator on the outside. So you may have to cut the case up and bit and make sure no sharp bits are in contact with the tubes (you can buy rubber stuff that protects holes). But if you want to and are confident trying it, go for it. Make sure it will work before spending so much though!

Yeah I think I'll have to take my cooler out and measure it all up before buying it, hopefully I'll be able to attach it to something.. somehow.. :)

I have the corsair 650D case, which is quite big, and looking at it through the side window i`d say the H100 would probably reach outside, but only a couple inches clearance. You`d have to take off a few of the expansion slots at the back of the case and then put them back on again to be able to feed the cooler back through without disconnecting the piping ( not sure if there`s any way to do this and refill with the self contained units )..

Hey thanks cabbages; the top right black box on the image is actually a little panel I'd either cut or leave off so I wouldn't need to disconnect anything.
