H80 fans

Hey guys, ok i have a faulty pump on my h80. So im taking it in today to be replaced. Whilst im there i was thinking of changing the h80 fans to something quieter. Anyone recommend which ones i could maybe get? also i was considering getting fans to replace the 5 120mm ones on my antec 1200 case why im there, and maybe a 200mm one for the top. I really want performance but quieter. The h80 fans are first priority though, ive been looking at a fair few, but not quite sure which ones to settle for.

I was thinking for the h80 to get 2 gentle typhoons 1850rpm 120mm. Ive found them for 11.98 each in stock, is this a good choice?

The typhoons are good, but I think the Bit Fenix Spectre fans are better.

Not a lot of pressure on the spectres though, need good pressure for the H80 as it's quite restrictive.

i still prefer my coolink swif2's quieter than stock, but louder than the typhoons, but also pushing more airflow, and ofc they're pwm

The typhoons are pwn too, im not going to the shop for another hour, gotta make my mind up lol. the h80 stock fans are far too loud

typhoons are all 3pin aren't they? if it mentions 4pin its maybe referencing a molex connector

Typhoons are not PWM.

Apache is a good alternative, I have them on my ALC ECO

Ok i had the h80 changed and put in 2 typhoons, wow its silent, my antec 1200 is silent wtf lol. i put the case fans on medium and with this, the difference is amazing

Which gt did u go for? I've got the 1450's coming today to compare to my apaches.

I went for the 1850s mate, i cant belive the difference, never thought id get a quiet case with the 1200.

If the 2x 1450's are much cop on my ALC ECO & quieter than my apaches at full blast ill get 2x 1850's & stick them on the ECO.

I would have ordered the 1850's on the offer but they were out of stock

I've just installed a couple of Gentle Typhoon's 1850RPM on my H70, they are so quiet compared to the Corsair Stock one's, i'm really pleased.

Ok wow.

Just installed 2*1450 gts. Quiet and cool.

On alc Eco

2*Apache fans full tilt 28c idle 45-50c full load

2*gts full tilt 25c idle 40c load

Prime 95 for 1 hour to get an idea of temps.

I'll now keep gts full speed 24/7 and have the 3 Apache fans pwm from CPU header to keep noise down

Very impressed is suggest two of these in push pull.

Sucking in too then venting out top of elite 430 case.
