H80 Push Pull 4 fans?

I was thinking about running a h80 with 4 fans in a push pull config....

any views??

Push pull would only require two fans with a H80.

You cant put 4 fans on a h80 unless you custom mount them.

If 40 fans get down to minus temps then I think adding another 2 should have some effect.

It's your money mate

A heatsink can only do so much and airflow doesn't really work like that.

Im obviously not going for 40 fans, just 4, and im not saying its going to double airflow but it will increase, surely? and reduce,

ill try it out and see what i get, no harm in trying

For the 10-20 quid or so it would cost, it might be worth a punt. You could always use them as extra case fans if it didn't have any effect.

well ive got the extra fans hanging around anyways so i just wondered if anyone else had tried it?

Fair enough, there's nothing to stop you from trying it out.

Given the minor difference you get from single to dual fans, I seriously doubt you'll see anything worthwhile from stacking fans together.

Still, give it a shot and let us know how it goes
